Joseph A. Ridgeway, Jr., P.E.


Mr. Ridgeway has over 40 years of professional experience and has served 31 of those years in municipal engineering with the City of Columbus. During that time, Mr. Ridgeway held a number of leading positions including: operations engineer, signal engineer, assistant chief traffic engineer, city engineer for four years, and director of public service for four years. Following his tenure with the City of Columbus, he joined Moody/Nolan where he was a principal and the manager of traffic engineering. His extensive experience has included directing and participating in the design of numerous traffic signal installations and closed loop signal systems. Mr. Ridgeway has completed numerous traffic impact studies for various proposed developments, such as, shopping centers, housing developments, and special site developments. Mr. Ridgeway specializes in traffic impact studies, signalized intersection and signal system design, thoroughfare plans, interchange modification studies, streetcape projects, and traffic engineering consulting services. Mr. Ridgeway is also registered as a professional engineer in Florida.
